The iCandy Swift has an excellent reputation in the all-terrain buggy market and MFM reviewer Kath discovered that it "navigates well over bumpy pavements, grass cobbles, dirt tracks, and cobbles and can handle the incline of kerbs with ease". It also provides an enjoyable ride for your child thanks to its suspension and the large 16'' air-filled rear wheels. The ability to lock the wheels on the front (on both the four-wheel and three-wheel versions) is also a very useful feature when you need to traverse difficult terrain or climb a high step.
Also, look for features like the height-adjustable swivel chair and the suspension which can be raised to accommodate a car seat or carrycot. Also, make sure that the tyres are able to be swapped for puncture-proof ones, which will allow you to navigate rough terrain and reduce the possibility of losing a spare in the middle of nowhere!
